All the perimeters of the city of Ferentino result to be an impressive megalithic ring wall with remarkable surviving doors, for example: - la porta Sanguinaria (the sanguinary door from the 1V century B.C) - la porta Maggiore (the main door also called Casamari) with a double arch in travertine and the pentagonal door at a sixth acute. In Ferentino you will find interesting recollections from the Roman era: - The Roman theatre from the 1-11 century a.c, recently opera to archelogical works. - The markets of the republican age of Via Morosini, the original surrounding wall testament of Aulo Quintillo Prisco composed of a grand tabernacle sculptured in the rock in
which the epigraph engraved held the text of the last wishes of the magistrate in favour of his city. The first years of the Silana the impressing Acropolis emerged in the heart of the city. At the summit the Roman Cathedral arose, called S.S Giovanni e Paolo (Saints John and Paul). With operas from the Cosmati, Vassalletto and the Palace of Vescovado. Another church which merits a visit is S.Maria Maggiore of the X111 century in gothic style.
